About Us

SONA Support Groups began in March of 2021, during the heyday of COVID lockdown, in order to provide consistent peer support to people struggling with narcissistic abuse, complex trauma and codependency issues. Using the Zoom platform and Meetup website, organizers were able to provide a unique at home experience to receive daily validation in the form of online meetings. Users could log in from anywhere they chose to meet with their organizers and other survivors of narcissistic abuse and CPTSD.

Based both in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and London, United Kingdom, the group rapidly expanded to tens of thousands of members worldwide. Now represented in over fifty four countries worldwide, SONA is a first-of-its-kind experience offering its members numerous unlimited online peer support meetings per day on a subscription based basis.

Members simply pay a one time registration fee of $50.00 and attend a registration meeting where they will be provided information regarding rules and regulations to ensure safety in our online rooms along with detailed instruction as to how to find and access the meetings they need based on their personal situations. Ranging from Narcissistic Abuse in Intimate Partnerships to The Toxic Family Weekly, our members are able to chose from dozens of weekly meetings geared towards their specific problem they are facing in meetings hosted and supervised by trained peer support specialists who are also a collective of fellow survivors of narcissistic abuse and complex trauma.

In the years since we’ve established, SONA has offered support, validation, a kind ear and close friendships amongst its members. We are an independent company and social club who welcomes anyone suffering from abuse and trauma regardless of political, spiritual or religious affiliation, gender identity, race or neurodiverse identity. We are very careful to ensure that this is a comfortable environment without any discrimination or bias. As long as you have the internet and Zoom, you can access our meetings anytime, anywhere.

Simply join a “First Timers” meeting by submitting your registration fee and try it for yourself. We are here to help you get through this rough time together.
